Nigel Kearney collected a cheque from the East Belfast District Scouts in memory of their District Vice-President Audrey Beggs.
David Bell said ‘Audrey had no children of her own but she gave a lifetime of unfailing service to the young people in her local community; she had a great rapport and love for children and generations of cub scouts in Gilnahirk and East Belfast loved her dearly. Audrey would have been so very pleased indeed by the amount of money raised in support of this appeal’.
